As a result of my ongoing co-authoring work on A Faster Future and its exploration of the future of broadband applications and services I'm finding myself being asked to speak more more about the project and related topics. Next up is a presentation at the China Lunch Room on August 20 on how new digital technologies will enable Australian SMEs to punch above their weight in global markets. The session also includes a panel featuring AIMIA CEO John Butterworth and Unseen TV CEO Earl Roberts. The three of us are freshly back from an AIMIA/Austrade mission to Shanghai organised by AIMIA TradeStart, which included a presentation at Mobile Monday Shanghai, an official function at the Australian Pavilion at the Shanghai 2010 World Expo and many, many meetings with leading figures in the Chinese digital media industry.
