A little while back I was asked by iTWire to help in the development of a research project on enterprise software testing for the Australian company Planit. That project includes an online survey, the Planit Software Testing Index 2010, which is online until the end of September. The goal of the survey is to determine the attitudes of organisations in Australia and New Zealand to Software testing.
Previous surveys have shown that many IT staff have warmed to testing as a way to avoid expensive cost blow-outs and revisions that often occur in software projects, and whether this trend has continued is a strong focus for this year's survey.
