I had to tune out of the presentation from JP Rangaswami, managing director at BT Design, to get some work done. Much of his talk was about the changing demands of new workers and the requirement to give them the tools that they want to get the most out of them.
After the break was a panel including the first four speakers, hosted by CBS Interactive's Brian Haverty. The discussion started on business case, and quickly moved through discussion of the benefits of bringing enterprise 2.0 tools online, especially in terms of productivity gains. Lots of discussion about the need to just get in there and start doing things - the potential gains far outweigh the potential problems.
Next up is me hosting a panel on social networks in the enterprise.
